AFR was released in Danish cinemas in the spring of 2007 and received great reviews from all of the big papers.

It won the VPRO Tiger Award in 2007 at Rotterdam Film Festival.

It was quite a rush cutting a film like this and I’m very proud of it being my first feature to hit the big screens.

I also cut the trailer which you can watch in the Trailers & Promos section soon. If you can’t wait go to the films website www.afr-filmen.dk

Ghosts of Cité Soleil has hit cinemas all over the world.

It won The Directors Guild of America award in 2008 for outstanding directorial achievement in documentary. The DGA Awards are considered the directors' equivalent to the Oscars.

It’s indeed some of the wildest footage I’ve come across in my time as a film editor.

I’ve been working very closely with Adam Nielsen (the main editor) and Asger Leth (director) to edit this film.

You can see it on www.ghostsofcitesoleil.com

Ma Salama Jamil recieved the VPRO Tiger Award at Rotterdam Film Festival 2008.

It’s a film taking place in the Arabic underworld in Copenhagen. A story about revenge and how the ancient hatred between sunni and shia muslims is burning hard.

I cut the film in the Fall of 2006 with a little help from Anders Refn and Henrik Vincent Thiesen.

I also cut the cinema trailer for this film. Watch it here.

Previous to cutting this film I worked closely with Omar Shargawi (the director) on some test scenes and a Promo trailer that I’ll be happy to show. Please contact me about that.

Roskilde is an amazing festival documentary.

With 300+ hours footage from 8 years and without a main plot it was a huge challenge to edit. Morten Højbjerg (chief editor) initially cut all the scenes while I consentrated on the concerts.

As we progressed and came closer to picture lock we both edited on eachothers scenes and the film as a whole.

It was a great collaboration. We are very proud of the result and hope you’ll take the chance to watch it. It’s a rush!
